Kindle Fire Details Page

The moment the Amazon Kindle Fire was announced, we concluded it was pretty striking. Who knew so many individuals desired an eBook reader?
According to the market research firm eDataSource, an appraised 95,000 preorders came in for the Kindle Fire on the first day. An additional 20,000 have been sold daily to reach a total of 215,000. Not bad.

Those numbers are only approximations. FYI, Amazon does not publish official sales numbers. Annual sales for the Kindle have been forecasted at anywhere from 500,000 in 2008 to 8 million in 2010. That's pretty staggering development, but will it maintain? By comparison the iPad sold 300,000 units it's first date of sale.

The Kindle Fire was revealed on September 28 and will sell at $199.99. The price is certainly right, but we're still balancing all the options.
We think the Kindle Fire has the optimal chance of taking the iPad by the toes. And we love a good underdog story. Besides, our wallets could use the break.

If we pick our electronic devices like we pick our winter apparel, then they must be workable, alluring and resilient. Is Kindle Fire the "trifecta"? Add in the highly affordable price tag and we might just be sure.
